National contest for schools

The new edition of the national contest Lichens and Didactics will start September 15, 2015. The contest is organised thanks to the fundamental support of the Italian Lichenological Society.

The contest will reward with a stereo-microscope two schools which will collect observations of four species of lichens in the framework of a didactical scenario. Schools have time till May 31, 2016 to plan their scenarios, collect observations, and upload them by using the app, or the web portal of the contest, which is available at the address http://concorso.lichenologia.eu/. The winners of the contest 2014-15 are:

• Scuola A. Garbaccio, Mosso (BI)
• Liceo Scientifico L. da Vinci, Acquapendente (VI)

The award will be distributed during a special event in the framework of the next Conference of the Italian Lichenological Society, in Lanciano, September 11, 2.30 pm
