Urban Nature was one of the most important events of CSMON-LIFE, and had an enormous visibility on local an national media. The event was organized in collaboration with the Italian WWF and the National Association of Scientific Museums (ANMS), and with the support of the Arma dei Carabinieri.

The event was centered on a naturalistic treasure hunt, in which 130 teams of 4 members each, in several towns of the country, challenged themselves in an attempt to send, by using the app of CSMON-LIFE, the highest number of observations of urban biodiversity.

The more than 500 participants to the treasure hunt sent - in one hour - about 1,500 observations, of which over 1000 were correct.

Together with the treasure hunt, in each participating town, various other activities took place, such as educational workshops and conferences.

Urban Nature will be repeated, thanks to the collaboration between CSMON-LIFE, WWF and ANMS, also in 2018, at the end of September.
