City Nature Challenge is about to begin

From tomorrow to Monday, April 30, Italy will be involved in the City Nature Challenge, which will oppose 65 towns from all over the world in a "treasure hunt" for biodiversity in urban areas. Everybody can be involved, by downloading the CSMON-LIFE App, and using the campaign CNCRome2018. All the observations you will send will be verified by experts, and will contribute to the victory.

You can participate on your own, strolling around gardens and parks, or by joining one of the foreseen BioBlitzes. More info in this page.

Citizen Science in Brescia

On march 16th we will intervene at a conference in Brescia, were we will discuss of citizen scinece, CSMON-LIFe and the results of our stakeholder, the GeRT project.

Citizen Science and communication

A round table on CITIZEN SCIENCE AND COMMUNICATION will be held on Novembre 25, 2017, at 10.30 a.m., at the Museo Civico di Zoologia (Via U. Aldrovandi, 18, Roma).

The round table aims at sumarizing the outcomes of the Firts Italian Citizen Science Conference, which will be held in Rome, Paizzale Aldo Moro 1, November 23-24, 2017. The round table will focus on the relationship between citizen science and communication, and how effective communication strategies could contribute to the growth of citizen science in Italy and in Europe.
